Final Family Engagement Series Lecture Set for Tues., May 31, 2011 from 5:00-7:30 PM


Although engaging parents in their children's treatment and education is key to positive outcomes, sometimes due to past missteps and mistrust make engagment seem impossible.  However, these seemingly formidable obstacles can be overcome with the right strategies and tools.  Join us for dinner and dialogue on this important topic at our final of 4 lectures in our Family Engagement series on Tuesday, May 31st from 5:00-7:30 PM at The Village Inn in Narragansett Pier. Scott Mueller, MSW, will be moderating a Panel Discussion with local engagement specialists, including, Donna Nabb, Westerly Families Learning Together; Stephanie Additon & Wilburn Logan, South Kingstown Family Community Engagement; and Michael Cerullo, Jr, LMHC, mental health clinician in private practice.  Panel members will be discussing strategies for Bridging the Great Divide:  Engagement tools for challenging cases.
