Children's Issues Forum
The Washington County Coalition for Children hosts a Children's Issues Forum every Spring to:
- review progress on identified priorities and
- gather community input about pressing issues facing children and families.

Holiday Gift Drive for Teens
In collaboration with Casey's Grill & Bar in Wakefield, the Coalition sponsors a holiday teen gift drive each year. Because most toy drives focus on young children up to age 12, historically many needy teens had simply been left out. But, no more, thanks to Casey's, who solicits community donations and in early December holds a Drop-Off Event, including a complimentary buffet, eggnog, and caroling for donors. Gifts collected are then distributed by the Coalition to youth serving agencies in Washington County.
